Important Notice for OMME Equipment Owners

An Update on OMME and Our Commitment to Your Equipment

OMME Lift A/S has entered bankruptcy and is being liquidated. This is what it means for your spider lift and how Tracked Lifts is supporting you through this transition with our Goodwill Service Program.

What This Means For You

OMME no longer exists as a functioning manufacturer. As OMME’s exclusive United States distributor, we’re voluntarily covering service labor on qualifying repairs through our Goodwill Service Program.

What’s changed

  • OMME will no longer honor warranties, produce new parts, or issue safety notices, recalls, or technical bulletins.

  • Any OMME warranty claim now has to go through the Danish liquidation estate, not OMME directly.

What hasn’t changed

  • Tracked Lifts still stocks OMME parts, employs factory-trained technicians, and offers technical support.

  • Your machine is still safe to operate — as long as it’s maintained and any safety concerns are reported immediately.

If you purchased a new OMME lift in past 12 months

  • You may qualify for free service labor under our Goodwill Service Program, for 12 months from your purchase date.

  • You still cover parts and shipping — the program covers labor only.

What to do now

  • Have your serial number and proof of purchase date ready, and contact Tracked Lifts to check eligibility.

  • If you notice any safety issue, stop using the machine and call us right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to OMME?

Omme Lift A/S (“OMME”), the Danish manufacturer of your spider/tracked aerial work platform, has entered formal liquidation proceedings in Denmark. OMME will permanently cease all manufacturing, warranty, and support operations. This means OMME itself will no longer honor warranties, produce new parts, or issue safety bulletins.

Is my OMME manufacturer's warranty still valid?

OMME will no longer honor it's original warranty (measured from the date of sale to the end user) because the company is being liquidated. If your machine is still within its original one-year warranty period, you may be eligible for Tracked Lifts' voluntary Goodwill Service Program (see below). This program is not a warranty and does not assume, extend, replace, or supplement OMME's warranty.

What is the Tracked Lifts Goodwill Service Program?

It is a voluntary, discretionary accommodation offered by Tracked Lifts to help ease the transition for U.S. owners of OMME equipment. Under the program, Tracked Lifts may provide complimentary service labor for qualifying repairs on machines still within OMME's original one-year warranty period. The program is not a contract or warranty and does not create any legally enforceable obligation. Full terms are set out in the separate Program Terms document.

What does the Goodwill Program cover?

If your machine qualifies, the program may cover the cost of service labor for qualifying repairs performed by Tracked Lifts. It does NOT cover: the cost of parts or materials; transportation or shipping costs to/from Tracked Lifts' facility; indirect or consequential damages (lost revenue, downtime, rental equipment); minor adjustments or normal wear and tear; or repairs resulting from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modification.

How long does the Goodwill Program last?

The program is effective twelve months from the date of your purchase, unless modified, suspended, or discontinued earlier at Tracked Lifts' sole discretion. After the program ends, Tracked Lifts may continue to offer service and parts at standard commercial rates, but is under no obligation to do so.

Who pays for parts and shipping?

The customer is responsible for the cost of all parts and materials, as well as all transportation and shipping costs to and from Tracked Lifts' service facility.

Can I still get OMME parts?

Tracked Lifts currently maintains an inventory of commonly needed OMME parts. We will make reasonable efforts to source additional parts. However, parts availability is not guaranteed and may diminish over time as existing inventory is depleted.

What if my lift has a safety issue or needs a recall-type fix?

Because OMME will no longer issue safety notices, recalls, or technical bulletins, it is critically important that you immediately discontinue use and contact Tracked Lifts if you identify any safety concern with your equipment. Spider and tracked lifts are aerial work platforms subject to OSHA regulations and ANSI A92 standards, and safe operation remains the owner/operator's responsibility.

Is Tracked Lifts now the manufacturer? Is Tracked Lifts responsible for OMME's obligations?

No. Tracked Lifts is an independent U.S.-based dealer. We have not acquired OMME or its assets, have not succeeded to OMME's business, and do not assume any of OMME's debts, warranties, obligations, or liabilities. The Goodwill Service Program is a voluntary accommodation, not an assumption of OMME's responsibilities.

Do I have any claim against OMME in the liquidation?

You may have the right to submit a claim against OMME's estate in the Danish liquidation proceedings—for example, for the remaining term of your manufacturer's warranty. If you believe you have a claim, you may wish to consult with your own legal counsel regarding the process for filing claims with OMME's appointed liquidator. Tracked Lifts is not in a position to provide legal advice and cannot represent your interests in those proceedings.

What happens when the Goodwill Program ends?

After your twelve-month warranty expiration date, complimentary service labor will no longer be available. Tracked Lifts intends to continue offering paid service and parts (subject to availability) at standard commercial rates but makes no commitment to do so.

Does an informal promise from a Tracked Lifts employee change these terms?

No. The Program Terms document constitutes the complete statement of Tracked Lifts' voluntary goodwill program and supersedes all prior informal assurances. No oral or written statement by any Tracked Lifts employee or representative modifies the terms of the program.

Are there any limits on Tracked Lifts' liability for service work?

Yes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, services under the Goodwill Program are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and Tracked Lifts disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Tracked Lifts is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Full details are in the Program Terms document.
